about

I wrote this instrumental while I was trying to figure out the Roland Juno 6 synthesizer—an utterly fantastic, underrated keyboard. Simple enough for me, it was a whole new world of discovery. Everything on this song was generated by the Juno 6. I’m not a keyboardist, but I love tinkering with the ivories (even when they are plastic).

When I was a kid I used to roller skate and ice skate like a maniac, so I wrote this with figure skating in mind, imagining some Olympic ice skating event with my song playing as the soundtrack. A man’s gotta dream!
