After I criticized the terrible state of heavy metal music during the early 80’s, one of my favorite students, who was into grunge before grunge was grunge, challenged me to write a metal song. I couldn’t dampen down all my pop sensibilities, so this is the best metal-flake tune I could conjure in fifteen minutes of heavy metal despair. (One line near the end got away from me, and it sounds like ‘Jerry Kaddafi’, but I’m not sure.)
